About myself

I am a postdoc researcher, biogeographer, specializing in modelling, paleoecology, and the distribution and ecological functions of large terrestrial mammals, both in the past and the present.

My main research interests lie in restoration ecology and rewilding, particularly as applied to the conservation of European wood-pasture habitats. I am also deeply interested in human–carnivore conflict dynamics and in the preservation of European cultural landscapes.
